|Berkshire Family and Individual Resources (BFAIR) is currently looking for Direct Care staff to join our residential teams in our group homes located in Westfield, Southampton and Northampton.|
We have PT and FT positions available at all 3 homes for all shifts. The starting rate for direct care is $16.00 per hour.
NEW HIRE BONUS up to $1,500 FT/$1,000 PT - Details Below Description
The ABI Direct Care staff primary responsibilities include:
*Provides various supports to individuals under the ABI or MFP waiver programs in a group home setting
*Assists individuals in all areas of daily living including personal care, housekeeping, cooking, and recreational activities
*Works closely with individuals to help them to become as independent as possible and to meet their own personal goals
*Assists individuals to find and participate in community activities they enjoy while encouraging community membership as well as pursuing individual interest.
All Full-Time staff hired would be eligible for a $1,500 hiring bonus
All Part-Time staff hired would be eligible for a $1,000 hiring bonus
Method of Distribution**: (to be paid the subsequent payroll of the defined measurement periods)
• $500 upon successful 90-day evaluation from date of hire
• $1,000 upon successful 1year evaluation from date of hire
• $250 upon successful 90-day evaluation from date of hire
• $750 upon successful 1year evaluation from date of hire
** Staff must be in good standing to receive bonus distribution and actively working.
Must be hired by 10/31/2021 to be eligible. Management reserves the right to end or extend program based on funding and needs of the program(s) at any time.
|High School Diploma/GED or one year experience in a related field, must possess basic math (addition/subtraction) skills, ability to read & write, communicate effectively both verbally and written, ability to multi-task and exercise good judgement. Ability to complete all initial and ongoing background checks including but not limited to: CORI, SORI, Fingerprinting, LEIE, Driving record, E-verify, Physical, PPD and licensing and/or certification checks (i.e. nursing). Valid US driver’s license and ready access to a vehicle.|
