WIC Program Director

(Greenfield and multiple CAPV WIC sites

in Franklin County, Hampshire County, North Quabbin region) 

Are you passionate about serving families in the perinatal period and/or with young children? WIC helps those who are pregnant, postpartum, or have a child under 5 with a healthy start. The WIC Program Director is responsible for the leadership and management of the day-to-day operations of the agency’s WIC program.

The position plans, implements and evaluates program operations to ensure compliance with federal regulations and state policies and procedures, including WIC benefit issuance, caseload management, files and record keeping, data quality, training, quality assurance, and staff deployment. The position supervises a team of nutrition, community outreach, family support, and program support staff who work across the Community Action Pioner Valley service area.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in public health, public administration, nutrition, 2 years’ experience in program administration, 1 year supervision experience, OR a master’s degree, 1 year experience in program administration, 1 year supervision experience.  More details about key knowledge, experience, and competencies for the position are listed on our employment website.

This is a 37.5 hr/week position. The salary pay range for this exempt position is $64,640-$68,680/year.?
