The Town of Amherst United Swim Team is growing—and we’re looking for passionate coaches to help lead our inclusive, competitive youth swim program.

As an Aquatics Coach, you’ll play a key role in planning, coordinating, and delivering high-quality aquatics programming across multiple levels.

The Aquatics Coach assists in the planning, coordination, and implementation of multiple levels of aquatics programming within the Amherst United Swim Program. Coaches the Amherst United Recreational Swim Team, as well as youth swimming. Supervises the activities of program participants and other staff to assure compliance with pool safety protocol. This role may include evening and weekend work and may involve some irregular hours.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous experience coaching swim teams at collegiate or USA Club levels or teaching swimming lessons.  Current Red Cross Lifeguarding, First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications or ability to acquire certifications within first four months of employment. Ability to communicate effectively; ability and willingness to perform some evening and weekend work and to work some irregular hours.
