Temporary WIC Nutritionist (Greenfield, Hadley, Orange, MA) 

Are you passionate about serving families in the perinatal period and working with young children? WIC helps those who are pregnant, postpartum, or have a child under 5 to have a healthy pregnancy and start in life.  

The Temporary WIC Nutritionist provides nutrition and health assessment, education, and counseling to participants in individual and group settings.  The WIC Nutritionist works collaboratively with the WIC team to develop nutrition and programmatic improvements for service delivery and participant experience.  The WIC Nutritionist provides services at multiple sites, which includes some evening and occasional weekend hours. 

This is a temporary, anticipated 6-month position starting in January.  As a temporary position, the agency offers vacation time, sick time, and paid holidays.  This position is not eligible for other benefits.

This is a 37.5 hr/week, temporary position. The salary pay range for this non-exempt position is $27.80-$29.51/hr.?The position is open until filled. This staff member is required to drive to the Hadley WIC office approximately 2 days/week, Greenfield WIC office 2 days/week, and Orange WIC office 1 day/week.
