Description:
Town of Amherst Electrician Department of Public Works The Town of Amherst seeks an Equipment Operator to perform skilled level electrical work in the installation, alteration, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with standard practices of the electrical trade.
Requirements:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Completion of a recognized four-year electrical apprenticeship program, or equivalent training, PLUS three years of experience as a journeyman electrician; OR equivalent education and experience demonstrating the ability to successfully perform the requirements of this position. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Valid Commonwealth of Massachusetts Class D license to operate motor vehicles. Valid Massachusetts Journeyman Electrician License. Hiring Range - $28.70 - $38.57 per hour depending on experience and/or qualifications.
