MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: - Knowledge of volleyball rules and fundamentals
- Ability to effectively instruct volleyball fundamentals
- Experience coaching and/or playing volleyball
- Experience working with youth; Ability to manage groups of youth in an active setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to work respectfully with diverse populations
- Strong organizational skills
- CPR/First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Availability to work evenings, as required by the program schedule
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to stand, walk, run, and actively participate in volleyball activities for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and assist with equipment setup. Reasonable accommodations may be made to assist individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions of the job. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work is performed in gymnasium and recreational facility settings. Noise levels are moderate to loud. Uses equipment and tools associated with sports instruction and other fields of instruction.
