Part-time Fuel Assistance Intake Specialist (Greenfield), Seasonal, Oct-June

This position interviews and completes application intake for individuals applying for the Community Action Pioneer Valley Fuel Assistance program. The Fuel Assistance program provides benefits during the coldest months of the year to community members throughout the agency's service area. The intake specialist is responsible for conducting interviews with prospective clients, collecting documentation to establish client eligibility, data entry, and maintaining strict confidentiality of client information.

The ideal candidate will have two years of customer service and office experience in a social services or closely related field. Skills in interpersonal communication, verbal and written, in-person and phone, and the ability to engage in a compassionate, empathetic manner are highly valued. 

More information about key knowledge, experience, and competencies for the position are listed on our employment website. This position is open until filled. The job is part-time, 20 hrs/wk, seasonal job (Oct-June), and works at the CAPV office located in Greenfield. Pay range $18.20-19.30/hr.
