Agawam medical manufacturer currently looking for a Quality Control Inspector. Full time, permanent position! Looking for candidates with medical device background or familiar with ISO13485. Responsible for first piece, in-process, final inspection and documenting results. Must have 2 years of previous inspection experience in medical manufacturing. CMM experience is a must!

Duties include:

-Reporting to the Quality Engineer

-Inspect, measure and/or test incoming aerospace parts

-Must be able to run and operate a CMM machine

-Indicate inspection status of parts with labels and stamps, welds and must have experience with micrometers and calipers

-Experience with laser cut parts is preferred. Must be knowledgeable with visual inspection, thread gages and gage pins.

-Maintain product identification and traceability

-Control non-confirming product in accordance with documented procedures and verify timely corrective and preventative action

-Protect product during handling and storage

-Provide leadership to production personnel on quality issues

-Comply with and reinforce the requirements of the company's Quality System Manual and Standard Operating Procedures, AS9100, ISO13485 and others
