Local grinding shop is seeking out an experienced Machinist on their 1st shift!

Machinist Overview:
The machinists primary function is to calibrate and run critical machines to ensure continuity in machining items as needed.

Machinist Duties:
creating and reading blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work piece
sequence of operations and setup requirements with or without the assistance of a Lead or Senior Machinist.
must be capable of selecting, aligning and securing hold fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories and materials on machines such as mills, lathes, jig borers, grinders and shapers.
inspecting materials, verifying dimensions, using measuring instruments such as micrometers, height gauges and gauge blocks.
other duties will be required.

Machinist Additional Information:
1st shift: 7am-330pm with optional overtime
Pay: $19-$22 DOE
