Pay Rate: $18/hr to start Duties: Review and understand all inspector training materials. Inspect incoming loads of all materials to ensure that no prohibited materials are present. Complete inspection reports accurately and on a timely basis to ensure property quality for the company. Manage traffic patterns to ensure safe and efficient offloading of vehicles at the light iron pad or in other appropriate locations in the yard. Maintain a clean scale and driveway at all times. Develop good relations with key suppliers and truck drivers to ensure a smooth process at the scale on a daily basis. Observe all safety rules and requirements and ensure that all truckers, customers and other personnel in the scale area are observing safety rules consistently. Required to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly through shift hours. Must be okay with working outside all year round.
