In this role you will conduct comprehensive benefits screening, scheduling of appointments, provide advocacy, resources, and application assistance. Work both in-person and over the phone with people living in Hampshire, Franklin and the N. Quabbin region helping them access SNAP, health insurance, financial assistance, and housing using a strength based model to educate households about their budgets, develop plans of action and make connections to resources. 37.50hr/wk. Requirements: The ideal candidates will have a High School diploma or HS Equivalency and five years’ experience in Human Service or related field or applicable work experience working with individuals and families that have low incomes. Additional education may be substituted for related experience; excellent computer skills; demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team; and, reliable access to transportation to travel throughout Hampshire and Franklin county.
