About the Position:

Position: Community Living Specialist 1- Full Time (Fluency in ASL Required)

Location: Holyoke, MA (regular travel to Franklin County)

Rate of Pay: $16.00 per hour (plus an additional $40 biweekly stipend for second language)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Schedule: Monday - Friday 9am-5pm occasional nights & weekends



Summary:

The Community Living Specialist 1 provides outreach services to individuals with disabilities. Assists individuals in daily living skills to achieve greater independence and self-fulfillment.

Qualifications:

High School/GED plus 3-years related experience OR Associate’s degree plus 1 year related experience or training
Must have a valid driver's license, good driving record, a reliable vehicle and willingness to transport participants in personal vehicle
Must be able to travel within the region to access residential settings, employers, offices, and community organizations
Must be fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) and have a working knowledge of deaf culture
