Description:
The Community Coordinator will support the Head of School in our busy, sweet school. Responsibilities include everything from data entry, to answering phones, to planning events, and supporting admissions and fundraising efforts. It is imperative that applicants adore young children, as the nature of our school means that all of us prioritize the children and are willing to drop what we're doing to be helpful if needed.

Responsibilities:
Support Head of School with a specific focus on fundraising efforts and community engagement efforts.
Prepare and coordinate special events, including ordering of supplies, running errands, decorations, schedule, music, etc., which often includes acting as a liaison with the Parent Association.
Grant writing
Coordinate marketing efforts as needed by the school
Alumni relations and engagement
Website maintenance
Social media and blog engagement
Answer multi-line phone system, filter calls, and direct messages.
General office duties: filing, faxing, photocopying, mail processing.

Job requirements, skills, and qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Expertise with Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, Forms.
Experience with Photoshop
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Punctuality and responsibility.
Ability to maintain a high level of order and organization in a busy environment
Strong interpersonal skills, with an understanding that this position will interact with a diverse community of children, parents, and staff.
Excellent time management and organization skills.
Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
Strong work ethic.

This position is benefited and year-round with expected hours 12:00 - 5:45 p.m., and occasional weekend and extended evening hours. The start date immediate. Pay is negotiable with experience.
