We are working with our client to find an excellent candidate to add to their team. This opportunity is on 1st shift and will have you working 6am-2:30pm including mandatory overtime. This is a temp to hire position offering $14-$15+/hr depending on experience. Once hired on, you will be eligible for their benefits package including medical/dental/life/disability insurance, 401k, and paid time off. Working as the Grinder, you will be responsible for the following tasks including, but not limited to: Perform straight, step, tapered, and formed grinding operations on a wide variety of parts Perform challenging and exacting setups Balance and mount wheel in machine Select proper speeds and feeds according to type/size of material Dress wheel for all work Maintain close tolerances Detect faulty operation or defective material and report to supervisor Your Skills/Qualifications for the Grinder position: Previous manufacturing experience Good mechanical ability Ability to be on your feet for the entire shift and lift up to 50 pounds Good hand/eye coordination Solid work history If you are interested in a great opportunity with a well-established company, apply today!
