Position: Human Resources Administrative Assistant – Full Time
Location: Springfield, MA
Rate of Pay: $15.50 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm

Summary: As a vital member of the H.R. team, the Human Resources Administrative Assistant plays a key role in compliance, recordkeeping and benefits administration. She/he is responsible for maintaining employee personnel files and related records in accordance with agency policies and standards. She/he provides administrative support to the H.R. teams to unsure excellent customer service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Answers routine questions and inquiries regarding HR procedures and policies in a timely and positive manner
• Maintains personnel files, department records and reports
• Assists with posting jobs, reviewing resumes and interview process
• Supports HR team with special assignments, projects and other tasks as needed
• Ensures confidentiality in accordance with company procedures and standards
• Works closely with the HR team as we all support each other’s efforts.
Requirements:
Qualifications: High School Diploma or HiSET with three years’ experience, preferably in the Human Resources field. OR Associates Degree with one year related experience.
Requirements: Proficiency in using Word, Excel, and data entry skills required. Must be able to learn and effectively use the ADP Workforce Now platform. Good interpersonal skills are a must. Excellent customer service skills with demonstrated ability to handle sensitive employee and business situations of a confidential nature. Working independently in a fast-paced environment, must be able to multi-task, prioritize and complete projects in a timely fashion. Attention to detail with excellent organization skills required. Ability to read and interpret documents such as policy and procedure manuals. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide. Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
