Become a part of our team of competent and compassionate professionals as a Cook for Connections and Unity Place in Greenfield MA! Connections, a 32-bed co-ed program will provide residential rehabilitation services as an alternative to incarceration to adults 18 years or older who are involved in the justice system and struggling with issues related to addiction. Unity Place, 1 16-bed co-ed program will provide residential rehabilitation services to individuals suffering from addiction and mental illness. The cook has to adhere to kitchen compliance standards set forth by the Department of Public Health. They prepare healthy and nutritious meals for clients. The cook orders food and plans menus. They maintain a clean and sanitary environment in which to prepare food. . He/she may also transport food to other sites as needed. The cook has to obtain and maintain ServSafe Certification. They also use appropriate means of conveying written client/program information needed by other staff to perform his/her duties in the best interests of the clients.
