This exciting full-time temp-to-hire opportunity will have you working 4 days/week Monday – Thursday 7am-5pm with occasional overtime on Friday. This position offers $15-$18+/hour depending on experience and once hired on by the company you will be eligible for their excellent benefits package. Your responsibilities as the Quality Assurance Inspector: Inspection of machined parts Use of tools including Vernier calipers, height gages, micrometers, and thread gages Perform and maintain calibration for inspection equipment Collaborate with other departments for quality control Ability to multi task and manage shifting priorities Work with team to maintain AS9100 certification Read/interpret engineering drawings/prints and communicate with other staff to determine quality standards Other duties as directed Your skills/qualifications for the Quality Assurance Inspector position: HS Diploma/GED AS in a science related field preferred 2+ years’ experience in machine shop environment 3+ years’ quality control experience Understanding of how to measure parts, experience with inspection equipment Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Understanding of engineering documentation including blue print reading and GD&T tolerances ISO or AS9100 experience preferred Solid computer skills – Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook Comfortable making decisions in fast paced work environment If you are looking to join a growing company, like the idea of a 4 day workweek and have the required skills and experience we want to meet with you.
