Use your nursing knowledge to aid the mental health needs of adults in your Western Mass community! As an LPN, your primary responsibility will be to provide phone consultation to staff at the program site. You will be able to care for individuals that we serve in our Crisis Stabilization Unit in Springfield, MA. Licensed Practical Nurses assist to provide a safe and healthy environment in the Crisis Stabilization Unit for those we serve. Training and supervision is provided to expand your skills and knowledge of current medications and interventions. LPNs work collaboratively on multidisciplinary teams and build skills in team consultation, sharing their medical expertise with other behavioral health team members. A premium rate is offered to this Nurse position, when responding in-person to the site, to administer available medication during overnight hours. This Licensed Practical Nurse position is a unique position for the right candidate! Crisis Stabilization is a safe, supervised, environment assisting adults in small milieu settings. Individuals served are provided a range of services including need assessments, groups, medications and counseling. Requirements: Licensed Practical Nurses at Behavioral Health Network have the following qualities: • Basic understanding of mental illness, and appropriate pharmaceutical and psycho-educational treatment interventions (required). • Massachusetts Licensed LPN (required). • Maintain current licensure and certifications (required). • At least one year experience working within behavioral health and one year postgraduate experience in medical-surgical nursing (required). • Ability to work from home from 12 am to 7 am. • Live in close proximity to our program sites.
