Become a part of our team of competent and compassionate professionals as a Medical Assistant at the Springfield OTP at Behavioral Health Network! Medical Assistants at Behavioral Health Network coordinate with medical providers to provide assessments of individuals served prior to their medical appointments. Medical Assistants schedule appointments with providers, maintain supplies and equipment. Additionally Medical Assistants measure and record vital signs as needed and perform randomized drug screening.

BHN/OTP is a Medication Assisted Treatment Program to assist individuals who are opiate addicted and are experiencing the dysfunctional effects of its use to gain and maintain the skills needed to achieve an opiate-free lifestyle and to improve functioning. BHN Springfield OTP uses medication protocols approved by the Medical Director to ensure patients are safely detoxified from these substances. These protocols are evidenced based, and are implemented through assessment and re-assessment practices throughout the process.
Requirements:
Medical Assistants at Behavioral Health Network have the following qualities:

Excellent organization and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with Internet, word processing and email systems.
Medical Assistant Certificate or Degree.
Spanish speaking applicants encouraged to apply.
