As a Counselor at the Crisis Stabilization and Respite program at Behavioral Health Network, you will support individuals by providing resources to help them meet personal recovery goals. Counselors have the opportunity to learn new skills by attending a variety of professional training. The Crisis Stabilization and Respite Program is a safe, supervised, 13-bed environment combining Department of Mental Health and Crisis beds. Individuals served at the 24-hour program are provided a range of services including medical evaluations, groups, and one-on-one meetings, among other recovery services. Requirements: Counselors at BHN have the following qualities: • Ability to work well within a team. • Ability to perform treatment planning/implementation. • Knowledge of the behavioral health population. • Good Interviewing, observation and documentation skills. • 1 year experience in a human service field. • Bilingual in Spanish & English (preferred). • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred).
