Description:
Our growing and dynamic organization is seeking a customer service oriented Junior Network Administrator to provide professional and courteous technical support to users in an efficient and reliable manner. The Junior Network Admin will help manage, monitor, and maintain a large multiple location network throughout Western Massachusetts.

Behavioral Health Network is a growing non-profit community behavioral health agency that has been providing services to children, adults, families and communities in Western Massachusetts since 1938. BHN provides comprehensive, outcome-driven behavioral health care. We are dedicated to offering high quality, affordable and culturally appropriate care to people of all ages and income levels in our constituent communities.

Major Responsibilities and Duties:

Act as the Situation Manager, repair, and resolve unplanned events that adversely affect the network or computing environment.
Supports, manages, and ensures operating capability of both the LAN and WAN networks both wireless and wired are up for all hours of operation for optimal health.
Installs, configures, and maintains Networks, all physical and virtual servers, UPS, network cabling, and Ethernet networks allowing for optimal operation.
Configuration and maintenance of the SAN
Administer and manage backup system (VEEAM) for all servers, including file restores
Address end-user help requests as necessary through ticketing system.
Perform as backup and high level resource for Desktop Support Technicians.
Troubleshooting higher level errors and issues
Manage Vendor relationships
Daily Review and remediation of Backups
Monitor and maintain firewalls, spam and web filters
Server updates: Patches (O/S, Applications, BIOS), Firmware updates, etc.
Microsoft Exchange system and mailbox administration and management
Maintain patch management through WSUS
On-call for any network outages
Requirements:
Junior Network Administrators at Behavioral Health Network have the following qualities:

Strong experience with switching and routing in a CISCO environment
Strong knowledge of VEEAM best practices
VMWare administration and management
IT Security experience, especially as it pertains to HIPAA
Knowledge of HPSIM
VoIP and legacy telecommunication systems experience a plus
Current knowledge of Active Directory and MS Exchange best practices
Additional Requirements:

4+ years of experience in the following: installing, troubleshooting, operating, testing, planning, and configuring relevant network technologies and infrastructure
Excellent interpersonal, organizational and phone skills required
Must display strong attention to detail, work under pressure with deadlines, and manage multiple projects at the same time, keeping stakeholders updated on progress
Ability to read, write, speak fluently, and comprehend the English language in order to communicate effectively is vital
Strong documentation skills is essential
Additional certification(s) (i.e. MCSE, CCNA VMWare, etc.) a plus
