Description:
The SEIS Special Education Consultant will co- facilitate a Professional Development content series specific to Science, Math, History, or ELA. The sessions will be held October 2 & 3, 2019 in Norwood, MA. Facilitator will work with Co- (Gen Ed) facilitator to create a rigorous content (Secondary level) session with built in Special Education and pedagogy elements. The teachers attending the training (Gen Ed and Special Ed) teach in Department of Youth Services (DYS) facilities and practice an inclusion model of providing Special Education services to youth.
