Description:
The Town of Amherst is hiring a full time Management Assistant for customer service, data entry and administrative support duties in Inspection Services. The position will provide the primary customer service role in receiving and answering inquiries and requests for information from the general public and other departments; Position will research and track permits, maintain department records and permits and administer town program initiatives. Requires High School diploma/GED plus two years of related office experience; data entry and data base management, record keeping and organization skills, basic financial record keeping. Must demonstrate excellent customer service communication and interpersonal skills; ability to effectively interact with the public and communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Bilingual skills preferred. Complete salary range $35,283-$56,030 annually.
