Become a part of our team of competent and compassionate professionals as the Program Director in our Integration program at Behavioral Health Network! Embracing and supporting BHN’s mission of integrated, person-centered care, the Program Director implements and oversees the clinical care and administrative policies and procedures of the Integration program. The Program Director develops and monitors the annual budget, making modifications as needed, and ensures that the expectations of funding sources are met.

The Program Director leads the program and its employees in a process of continuous quality improvement, identifying areas in need at the medical sites and working with leadership to implement changes. Additionally, the Program Director uses data from multiple sources to improve individuals’ outcomes and employees’ performance. The Program Director serves as a primary liaison to primary care practices.

Using effective interpersonal communication skills is important for the Program Director to maintain relationships with partners, stakeholders, colleagues, and employees. The Program Director reports to the Senior Program Manager and maintains a collaborative relationship to ensure effective program management. In addition, the Program Director provides high-quality supervision to employees and ensures that they are appropriately trained in all relevant policies and procedures.

The Integration program is an innovative model of care, working directly with our primary care providers to address the whole health needs of the families and individuals in our culturally diverse community. Our staff includes psychologists, social workers, counselors, recovery coaches and care coordinators. The Integration program is person-centered, evidence-based, and focused on collaborative goal setting to address unmet medical, behavioral health and social needs.

Behavioral Health Network is a growing non-profit community behavioral health agency that has been providing services to children, adults, families and communities in Western Massachusetts since 1938. Requirements:
The Program Director at Behavioral Health Network has the following qualities:

• Broad knowledge of mental illness and treatment techniques, particularly severely and persistently mentally ill adults, severely emotionally disturbed children and substance use disorders.
• Familiarity with internet, word processing and email systems (required).
• Minimum of 2 years experience working as a post Master’s Level clinician (required).
• Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience (required).
• Experience working in a medical setting (preferred).
• Master’s Degree or higher in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling or Marriage and Family Therapy.
