Join a dynamic clinical and leadership team in an urban outpatient mental health setting!

Become a part of our team of competent and compassionate professionals as a Team Leader at the Carson Children & Youth program at Behavioral Health Network! Team Leaders support a healthy and vibrant clinic culture with high performance standards and excellent clinical work through administrative duties as well as program and contract management. In their contract management with local schools and area agencies, Team Leaders focus on integrating outpatient behavioral health services by staffing partner sites, facilitating referrals, and developing partnerships. Team Leaders aim to enhance program offerings designed to reduce mental health stigma/increase mental health awareness and improve access to behavioral health services. In addition, Team Leaders supervise clinicians needing clinical hours for independent licensure and provide direct outpatient care with a small-to-medium size caseload.

Based in Westfield, MA, the Carson Center for Children & Youth provides comprehensive outpatient mental health and in-home therapy services to children, adolescents, and their families. Behavioral Health Network, Inc. (BHN) is a private, not-for-profit community behavioral health organization in Western Massachusetts that has been providing services to children, adults and families in Western Massachusetts since 1938. BHN provides programming primarily to individuals and families in the areas of mental health, addiction and physical/intellectual disabilities.

Licenses, Accreditation and Insurance:

All of our clinical programs are accredited by CARF and licensed by the Department of Public Health, Bureau of Substance Abuse Services, Department of Mental Health, Department of Developmental Services and Department of Early Education and Care. BHN has contractual relationships with Medicaid, Managed Care Organizations and most commercial insurers.

Requirements:
Team Leaders at Behavioral Health Network have the following qualities:

Independent license (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW, or PhD/PsyD) (required).
Excellent interpersonal skills to form lasting relationships with area agencies (warm, inviting, able to understand and translate identified needs into programs and think about developing interventions where none exist, while also working within existing behavioral health system).
Excellent verbal and writing communication skills.
Attention to detail.
Strong organizational skills.
Effective problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of systems-level issues and an interest in/ability to create and/or implement a wide variety of interventions.
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook (preferred).
Ability to be self-directed and work independently.
Ability to work collaboratively on multiple projects and tasks
Ability to demonstrate initiative and discernment in prioritizing work.
