Salary Range: Location: 15 Per Hour SPRINGFIELD MA Job Type: Category: Full Time Human Services Education Level: Work Experience: High School or Equivalent Preference: Required 3+ Preference: Required Skills/Certifications/Licences: Description: Develops and services employment relationships between clients and community employers, providing access to an array of employment, job training, and educational opportunities. Facilitates work-based training classes for students ages 16-22 using a prescribed curriculum. Facilitates a prescribed program that includes assessments, classroom instruction, physical movement, development of employment plans, assessing their interests in employment and education, placement in jobs and internships, and on site job training and support. Responsible for the coordination of internship opportunities, including working evaluation sites, marketing, job development, internship procurement. Additional responsibilities include vocational guidance, job development, job placement, onsite training, employer education, and customer relations. Qualifications: High School/GED or HiSET with three years experience; Associate’s Degree with 1 year experience or Bachelor’s degree. Knowledge of and respect for diverse populations. Requirements: Ability to use computers to include Microsoft Word, data entry, email, and internet essential. Must have a valid driver's license, 3 years driving experience, good driving record, use of vehicle and willingness to transport participants in personal vehicle. Must be able to travel within the region to access residential settings, employers, offices and community organizations.
