Human Resources & Contracts Specialist

Career Counselor

The MassHire Franklin Hampshire Career Center’s Career Counselor for Disabilities Services provides career counseling and support to customers including needs assessment, career exploration, labor market research, program and service eligibility, career action plans, case management and follow up support, job referral and matching.

This Counselor position delivers Career Center Disability Services including enrollment and case management for the Social Security Ticket to Work program. Builds effective community partnerships that leverage public and private resources to better serve individuals with disabilities and improve employment outcomes.

Preferred qualifications:  Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college in related field of study is preferred. Each year of related experience may be substituted for one year of educational requirement.

Experience in employment, vocational, educational counseling/advising or job coaching and assessment working with and advocating for people with disabilities.

Full-time position (37.5 hrs/wk), primarily in-person at Greenfield work site with option to work one day/week remote.

Salary from $24.26/hour ($47,307 annually) after 90-day training period, with annual step increases; benefits include health insurance, employee assistance program, flexible spending account, life insurance, retirement plan and generous holiday, personal, sick and vacation time.

Must pass CORI/SORI.

Must have reliable transportation for occasional work offsite.

Workshop Facilitator

Do you like helping people?  Enjoy teaching or public speaking?  Join our Workshop Team!

Design and deliver workshops in a hybrid format, including:  Resume/Cover Letter writing, Interview Skills, Online Job Applications, and other topics.

Evaluate customer needs and provide job search guidance, conduct individualized Resume/Cover Letter consultations, research and design workshops together with Workshop Coordinator, maintain accurate records.

Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s preferred.  At least two years of experience as a Workshop Facilitator, trainer, or teacher, particularly with a diverse audience.

One full-time position (37.5 hrs/wk) available. Starting salary is $24.26/hr., after 90-day training period  with annual step increases.  Excellent benefits and work environment.
