June through December is our seasonal peak with full-time hours, with part-time work available in the winter and spring. Drivers are responsible for getting our CSA farm share and wholesale orders to customers in the valley as well as various locations in the greater Boston area. We deliver Tuesday-Friday every week, with additional shifts available some Mondays and Saturdays. Opportunities to work shifts at farmers’ markets will also be available year round. This is a fast-paced job that comes with a lot of autonomy. It’s physically demanding but mentally rigorous as well: there will be lots of tiny details to keep in your head each day. You get a lot of quiet time on the road, and you need to flex a lot of muscle while loading and unloading. Must be able to lift 30-50 lbs. repeatedly and move large pallets. You’ll work with warm, wonderful people on both sides of your drive and go home with all the veggies you can eat. LOCATION: This position is based out of 184 Meadow Road in Montague, MA REQUIRED: Must pass both a valid drivers license and clean driving record check. Unfortunately, we CANNOT consider you for the position without meeting this requirement. You MUST have experience with both driving large vehicles and busy city driving. SALARY: $13.50/ hour plus all the organic veggies you can eat.
