Eppendorf is looking for an energetic, hands-on Design Electrical Engineer III in Enfield, CT!

What you could do for us in this role:
Work with the members of the product development team and other relevant departments within the organization (e.g., purchasing, quality, manufacturing, etc.) to complete assignments.  Providing direction to colleagues and making complex decisions. Responsible for providing guidance to junior EE’s.
Duties will include generation of engineering designs and calculations, project schedules, project costing and quality documentation.
We are looking for the following skills and experience:
Minimum qualification: BS Electrical Engineering degree and 10+ years’ experience in similar field or MS Electrical Engineering Degree and 7+ years’ experience.
Highly proficient with PCB design that includes microprocessor controllers, digital, power & motor control and analog circuitry including the proficiency to design and develop a control system. 
Basic knowledge of control software and graphical user interface for embedded control systems utilizing Assembler, C, C++, and VB programming languages.
Experienced with electromechanical systems incorporating motors, pumps, valves, sensors, feedback control and digital communications.
Specific knowledge of relevant standards 61010-1, EMC directive, CISPR-11, FCC, RoHS, WEEE. (strongly preferred)
