Global Educators is growing! As such, we’re looking for a Full-time IT & Technical Operations Manager to help us keep pace. As the title implies, duties include managing the IT department, strategic planning and analysis, and maintaining and supporting the online infrastructure that our business operations rely on. The IT & Technical Operations Manager reports to the Chief Operations Officer.
Manage IT staff by interviewing, training and coaching employees, communicating job expectations and appraising their performance
Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures
Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems
Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy
Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time
Audit systems and assess their outcomes
Preserve assets, information security and control structures
Handle annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness
Technical Operations Management
Own CRM system management
Data modeling and implementation for various technical services
Manage vendor relationships and work product
Web Development Operations
Web server administration
Maintenance of website development and staging environments
Deployment of new code and technical features to production/live websites
WordPress plugin maintenance and development
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
3+ years working experience, coaching and leadership, as an IT manager
5+ years excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems
5+ years hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation
Proven API and Web server management skills
Passion to help our department and company grow successfully
Ability to be flexible and grow in an innovative environment
Proven ability to communicate (verbal and written) clearly
Work efficiently as both a team member and as an individual
Strong attention to detail and alignment to established company procedures and policy
Efficient working style

Salary commensurate with experience
