Description: | Providence Ministries for the Needy, Inc., a mission-driven nonprofit organization serving the greater Holyoke community, is seeking an innovative and fast-paced Interim Director of Development and Marketing. This Director will work in partnership with the CEO and members of the community to support all fundraising and marketing activities. As Interim Director, you will be responsible for managing appeals, fundraising opportunities, monitoring the current grants process, and recurring gifts. In addition, you will also be responsible for managing social media content, designing email communications strategies, organizing event committees, and executing grant-funded marketing deliverables.
Responsibilities include:
• Monitor and execute on potential grant opportunities;
• In collaborative with design partners, create direct mail and email appeals;
• Develop and launch newsletters, both email and direct mail;
• Manage all social media including daily Facebook and Twitter communique; ensuring all community partnerships are featured;
• In partnership with the CEO, design email communication strategies;
• Manage major fundraising events committees including: Fall and Spring events (in progress);
• Work with administrative team to ensure data entry and management of donor database;
• Report monthly and facilitate donations from the board of trustees. |

• Experience with fundraising, event planning, grant/appeal writing, marketing and social media;
• Interest and commitment to serving vulnerable populations with a lens of social justice.
