Become a part of a multidisciplinary team of competent and caring mental health professionals providing assessment, stabilization, and treatment services to the Western Massachusetts community! As a per diem Licensed Practical Nurse at Behavioral Health Network’s Community Based Acute Treatment Program (CBAT), you will be able to work with youth to ensure their medical well-being by meeting their medication needs and assess medical issues and recommend treatment. You will help provide a therapeutic and educational environment as you establish rapport with the youth and interact with area providers to facilitate their care.

Through the use of trauma informed, strength based models, academic instruction, and clinical support, we focus on providing youth with mental health issues the assistance they need to integrate and succeed within our community.

Requirements:
Licensed Practical Nurses at BHN have the following qualities:
• Have a basic understanding of mental illness and appropriate pharmaceutical and psycho-educational treatment interventions.
• Maintain current licensure and certifications.
• Have at least one year experience working within behavioral health, and one year postgraduate experience in medical-surgical nursing.
• Massachusetts Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
