JOB DESCRIPTION:
Global Educators is growing! As such, we’re looking for a Part-Time HR & Operations Coordinator to help us keep pace. As the title implies, the HR & Operations Coordinator will provide administrative support to the HR and Operations departments, and will report to the Director of HR and Operations. Responsibilities include benefits enrollment, data entry, payroll, employee file administration, and researching new initiatives.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:
Human Resources:
--Employee benefits:
o Insurance
-Process renewal applications by pulling reports and generating raw data
-Update Bloomfire platform with new plans and rates
-Code insurance premium invoices
-Gather annual quotes and census information
-Process employee renewals and changes at open enrollment, and upon hire/life change
-Oversee COBRA with TPA
-Process ACA Requirements
o LTD Insurance Management
-Code insurance premium invoices
-Gather annual quotes and census information
-New employee enrollment
o Flex-spending account
-Gather annual quotes and census information
-New employee enrollment
o 401(k) retirement plan
-Process biweekly 401(k) contributions
-Gather annual compliance and census info
-Oversee monthly enrollment dates and employee qualification
o Wellness, First Thursday, Shout Out Board, NAC Discount, IATA Travel Agent
--Payroll:
o Remind staff, collect and audit timesheets
o Payroll co-administrator with DHRO
o Unlocks payroll portal for employee self-service
--HR Maintenance:
o Employee handbook and policy
o Process and maintain tax jurisdictions
o Recordkeeping - Employee Navigator & Google Drive & paper files
o Stay up-to-date on state and federal laws and best practices
--Miscellaneous:
o Update miscellaneous forms
o Research new initiatives, laws, programs, as needed
o Other duties, as assigned

Operations:
--Act as liaison to insurance agencies
o Liability
o Workers Compensation
o Group Travel
o Crime
o Property

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
o Bachelor’s Degree or 2-3 years of HR experience
o Experience with Google suite, HRIS, and payroll software
o Passion to help our department and company grow successfully
o Ability to be flexible and grow in an innovative environment
o Proven ability to communicate (verbal and written) clearly
o Work efficiently as both a team member and as an individual
o Strong attention to detail and alignment to procedures and policy
o Efficient working style
o Ethical practice
o Discretion, with dedication to keeping information confidential

You’ll be a GREAT fit if you:
o Have more than 1 year direct experience with HR best practices/laws; proven track record of diligence/discretion
o Have your PHR or SHRM-CP certification

SALARY and BENEFITS
o Hourly wage commensurate with experience
