Description:
Title: Marketing and Institutional Relations Director

Job Description: The position requires self-direction and excellent time management skills in marketing and sales, including design, website/database management. The Marketing Director must design an effective comprehensive Marketing Plan and put it into effect for successful sales. The Director has responsibility for directing the recruiting team, ensuring the success and growth of the company. This full-time position offers a competitive salary and benefits and is based in Amherst, Massachusetts.

Primary Responsibilities:

Design and implement a Marketing Plan
Establish and implement IR recruiting goals for each recruiting season
Represent Spanish Studies Abroad at fairs and conferences
Establish and implement marketing specific objectives for each season
Manage all marketing tools and content electronic (web, newsletters, updates, mailing, social
media, etc.)
Coordinate the design and printing of promotional materials
Maintain online advertising account
Regular data analysis and competitive analysis of marketing strategies
Supervise the development of web-based database tools
Manage internal department communications and personnel information
Submit department reports
Update regularly department procedures and Manuals
Manage department budget and keep expense reports

Skills:
Strong leadership and management skills with ability to lead staff to achieve set goals
Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong presentation and public speaking skills in English and Spanish
Willingness to travel frequently during recruiting seasons
Ability to work as part of a team and independently
Experience in social media management and online advertisement management
Proficiency in web design software
Requirements:
Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Marketing /Communications or similar
Minimum 3 years of experience in marketing and sales and client relationships
Experience in Higher Education and/or knowledge of U.S. Academic Institutions, strongly
preferred
Experience in international education
Knowledge of Spanish language
Personal study abroad experience
