Load and unload trucks. Keep produce cooler clean, neat and organized. Prepare produce for sale. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Customer Service, filling and rotating displays., maintaining cleanliness of the work area, sweeping, mopping and emptying trashes, preparing produce for sale, filling customer orders, packaging products for retail sales, loading and unloading trucks, discards or reduces cull (inferior or defective) items and foreign matter; bunches, bags, ties, or trims produce such as spinach, mixed greens and celery; picks out choice produce to be used as cappers (top layers on marketing containers). Education and/or Experience : High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
