Description:
Stoneleigh-Burnham School, an independent boarding and day school for girls in grades 7-12, seeks an experienced Business Office Associate. This is a full-time, year-round position.

Reporting to the Director of Finance and Operations, the Business Office Associate is responsible for the processing of payroll for all employees of the school, ensuring their timeliness and accuracy and in compliance with federal and state regulations as well as school policy. The Business Office Associate is also responsible for onboarding new employees, coordination of benefit enrollment, benefit updates and changes, and other personnel related documents. Maintains student tuition billing system: monthly billing, collection and analysis of all student financial activities as well as other program and miscellaneous charges.

Responsibilities and Duties:
• Payroll and Employee Benefits
• Student Billing
• Assist in month-end close
• Assist with annual audit and 403(b) audit
• Archive fiscal year records and annual year-end payroll records
• Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Job Requirements:
• A minimum of a high school diploma required; an Associate’s degree in Business or Accounting is desirable
• Two years of managing payroll is highly desirable; payroll software experience a plus
• Strong computer skills with operating knowledge of Word, Excel, and Google Docs
• Some knowledge of tax and benefit deductions helpful
