SEARCH EXTENDED! The Western MA Training Consortium has a Full-Time position available serving as a Community Outreach and Advocacy Coordinator at The RECOVER Project in Greenfield, MA.

The Full-Time Community Outreach and Advocacy Coordinator will be responsible for establishing positive and sustainable relationships with various community organizations and resources, and promoting knowledge of the RECOVER Project through information sessions and outreach to community organizations. They will serve as a liaison with courts and re-entry programs, provide community education about the RECOVER Project, its peer-to-peer participatory process, core values, and mission, coordinate community based peer recovery advocates, and maintain a social media and web presence. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to: maintaining safe space for all RECOVER Project members, supporting peer-to-peer relationships, working with the Peer Involvement Coordinator with all aspects of membership, including program planning and data management, enhancing membership opportunities and recovery supports.
Requirements:
Qualifications include: close familiarity with the local recovery community, experience in outreach and community building, minimum 5 years lived experience with addictions recovery, and ability to work a flexible schedule. Bachelor’s degree suggested, but relevant field experience may be substituted for some education. Some travel within Massachusetts required; valid driver’s license and reliable transportation needed.
