MENTAL HEALTH OUTREACH COUNSELOR-Community Based Flexible Supports- Amherst

ServiceNet is seeking a full-time recovery counselor to work in our outreach program in Amherst, MA. This position works with our Community Based Flexible Supports team and will start September 1, 2017.

Recovery Counselors play an integral role in our client’s recovery. In this position, you will provide and assist program participants with information and strategies to support and maintain participants’ individualized recovery goals. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team promoting a recovery-based model of care.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Experience working with people in a recovery-based model of care preferred.
• Ability to motivate, inspire, and support participants in developing and reaching their personal goals.
• Physical ability to perform the requirements of the position and CPR.
• Valid Driver’s License and acceptable motor vehicle record.

AVAILABLE SCHEDULE(S):
Wednesday-Sunday 9 am to 5 pm
