Fruit Fillings, Inc. is actively seeking a full time Production Scheduler and Manager for its Fresno, CA location who will work with the management team to ensure customers orders are manufactured and shipped on time.

Primary Responsibilities:
The Production Scheduler is responsible for planning for future scheduling by creating the daily production runs and thawing frozen ingredients in proper time, assigning daily tasks, ensures all products are of the highest quality and ensures orders are filled in proper time for shipping to maximize customer service satisfaction.
Requirements:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Reviews customer purchase orders and prepares production schedules
• Schedules incoming orders and change orders to meet customer’s shipping requirements
• Monitors production to ensure production schedule is met
• Resolves scheduling problems by collecting and analyzing information; coordinating solutions
• Ensures all products are available for each shift, ensures proper staffing levels are met to ensure production objectives are achieved
• Maintains production data base by entering data.
• Work with all departments to ensure accurate inventory count of all finished products
• Demonstrates an attitude of continuous process improvement
• Address employee issues and opportunities in a direct, timely and constructive manner and partnering the Operations Manager and the Human Resources Manager as needed
• Strengthen employee engagement, performance, and productivity and breaks down performance barriers.

Required Skills
• Previous experience as a production scheduler required preferably in a food production environment
• Strong analytical and business planning skills
• Good math comprehension & skills
• Ability to read & follow prepared formulas
• Proficient at using Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel)
• Ability to follow directions, ability to give directions
• Excellent organizational skills, individually motivated, and a team player
• Excellent conflict resolution skills
• Ability to write, speak and present effectively and persuasively at all levels
• Ability to read and write English
• Capable of effectively leading, developing and motivating a positive team
• Organized team leader
• Maintain well organized, detailed & legible production documents
• Other duties as assigned by management

Additional Requirements:
• Valid Driver’s License
• Clean driving record and valid car insurance
• Reliable transportation
• Must pass pre-employment physical, drug test and background investigation
• Ability to access all areas of the building including warehouse floor, mezzanine
