Our clinicians, teachers, and staff hold a willingness to look deeply—to learn and to play. Currently, we are seeking a Massachusetts licensed grade 5-12 Science Teacher for New Directions School. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Direct instruction of HS science subjects, develop curriculum and lesson plans, follow behavior management plans and DBT plans, differentiate instruction, work with others to develop IEPs, work as a member of a PLC (Professional Learning Community), provide direct communication with parents/guardians and all member of the team. Requirements: The successful candidate will be positive, outgoing, enthusiastic, patient, flexible, and creative. Must possess strong positive behavior guidance skills and have experience working with diverse populations. Must obtain & maintain all licenses & trainings appropriate to field & possess a commitment to personal/professional growth. Employment is contingent upon a clear background check. Must have a BA, MA preferred. Experience teaching preferred.
