Valley Medical Group is looking for a 16 hour GI Endoscopy Technician to work in our Endoscopy department at our Amherst Medical Center location! Position: GI Endoscopy Technician Location: Amherst, MA Responsibilities: As the GI Endoscopy Technician you will demonstrate safe, effective and efficient level of expertise in use of ASPC specific equipment following established policy and procedures. The GI Endoscopy Technician will prepare equipment and procedure room according to established protocols. The rooms will be stocked; equipment will be set up, cleaned and put away efficiently according to established workflows. The GI Endoscopy technician will demonstrate knowledge and practice of safety, security and infection control protocols. Also, the GI Endoscopy technician will participate in outreach and scheduling of patient appointments. This includes accurate use of EMR, mailing patient information packets and use of logs for tracking.
