Description:
The Hilltown CDC will be operating the Franklin Regional Transportation Authority (FRTA) Demand Response van serving seniors in the towns of Chesterfield, Cummington, Goshen, Plainfield & Worthington. We are seeking one or more part-time drivers to transport eligible seniors to medical appointments, shopping and social outings.

Program Specific Responsibilities:
* Pickup and transport eligible seniors to their destinations.
* Assist passengers on and off the vehicle (wheelchair lift equipment training provided).
* Perform vehicle check and complete mileage and passenger reports.
* Collect and report fares.

Must be friendly, patient, reliable and responsible in order to provide the quality service our clients expect from us.

Hours: Flexible, 10-18 hours a week, within normal business hours (M-F, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM). Retirees welcome to apply. We are happy to schedule shifts and days that fit into your schedule as long as they fit the program needs.

Requirements:
Driver’s license, good RMV record and 3 years driving experience. Pre-employment CORI, driving record check, drug screening and physical exam are required.
Safety training, equipment use, and CPR and First Aid training will be provided.
