In-Store Demo Specialist:

Appalachian Naturals, located in Goshen, Ma has openings for In-Store Demo Specialists. We bottle natural & organic dressings, salsa, tomato puree, barbecue sauces and food service size products which are distributed to markets & restaurants throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. This position is a good opportunity for those looking to get their feet wet in the food manufacturing industry. We also have summer-only positions for high school or college students.

As our Demo Specialist your goal is to educate people about the benefits of adding our gluten free all natural products to their daily lifestyle. You will set up a small display at the store, offer samples of our products and educate customers on the benefits of our healthy products. After each demo sales numbers will need to be submitted to your manager along with photos of the event (smart phone will be required to do this easily). Demos are 3 hours and take place on Friday afternoons, Saturdays or Sundays. If you enjoy leading a healthy lifestyle and speaking with people this is a fun job with great flexibility.

Key requirements:

- Must have at least one year of experience as a demo specialist performing in-store demos for a natural food/beverage product

- Be passionate about living a healthy lifestyle and helping others to as well
- Friendly and outgoing, love talking with people

-Reliable, dependable, organized and responsible

- Have internet access, a smart phone and check email daily

-Have a reliable vehicle to get to and from demos

- Be available to provide at least three (3) in-store demos per month, mostly on weekends

Days/Hours: Fridays 3-6pm, Saturdays 11am-2pm, Sundays 11:30am-2:30pm

Salary: $25/hour for a 3 hour demo (net $75 per event)
