fulltime Outreach Worker

 
Tapestry Health seeks an Outreach Worker for our La Voz program, which serves Latinos in the Springfield/Holyoke area, and aims to reduce risk for HIV/STIs, incidence of relapse, and recidivism to jail.

Required Qualifications: bilingual English/Spanish, high school diploma or equivalent, experience working with substance abuse, knowledge of HIV/AIDS prevention principles, familiarity with Latino culture, skills in community organizing and education, proficiency in using the Internet, valid Massachusetts driver’s license and access to personal vehicle.

Preferred Experience/Education: computer literacy in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Access), ability to work independently and on a team, creative, flexible.
